Thislist features that should be added

With privacy settings, e.g. by invite, open collaboration, etc. This would allow people to contribute in a lower-stakes fashion by adding to a list without needing to start one themselves.

When making/editing a list, it's a bit confusing in determining what my options are in terms of functionality. Hovering the options with the cursor (mobile be damned) could describe what an "Author" or "Flavor" field is. Alternatively, the bubble could expand / pop up a descriptor field upon select. Actually, I do see now that there are very nice examples when the user creates a list. that is good

Currently blank list items have a note feature that changes whether the "note" option is selected as part of the list. While it's unselected, maybe it could be described as a "private note" on the menu to make it clear it will not be presented as part of the public list.

On desktop the list privacy button LOOKS like a button but it doesn't actually do anything. Tapping it could maybe quick-publish/private the list without having to enter the "Edit" menu.

Display your join date on your profile, so people know that you're a thislist OG and you knew about it WAAAAAAAAY before any of these bandwagoners

1. Allow comments (or maybe just likes or reactions) on individual list items 2. Make commenting toggled on as the default setting so that people will let me comment on their lists

Currently ranked lists don't easily show magnitude between ranked items when they're given a score. Maybe a subtle shader behind the list item could show that item number 3 is ranked twice or three times as highly as item number 4
